Weather has been beautiful, ☀️☀️ so we have been starting our walks earlier in the day. Having lots of water breaks, taking it at a slower pace. And Even went to a couple of new places that have lots of shade for our all to walk.

☀️ HOT WEATHER WARNING FOR PET OWNERS ☀️

Please remember that our pets struggle in the heat just like we do — sometimes even more. 🐶🐱

A few important reminders during this warm weather:

🐾 Never leave pets in a car, even for a few minutes
🐾 Make sure they always have access to fresh, cool water
🐾 Walk dogs early morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler
🐾 Check the pavement with your hand — if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for their paws
🐾 Provide shaded, cool areas for them to rest
🐾 Watch for signs of heatstroke: excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, or collapse

Our furry friends rely on us to keep them safe 💛
