Our Story

Ralph Beckett has been training horses at Kimpton Down since 2011, sending out two Classic Winners in Talent (2013 Oaks) & Simple Verse (2015 St Leger), to add to the 2008 success of Look Here (Oaks), who we trained at Whitsbury.

We currently have over 130 horses in training here at Kimpton and employ 40 full-time staff.

At Kimpton Down we are blessed with an idyllic setting and some fantastic training facilities including both synthetic & woodchip gallops, combined with 35 acres of downland grass; home to various turf gallops.
