Ellie's worm count has been posted 😎

Hopefully her results come back clear but considering she has had surgery recently and her gut has been disrupted by pain relief, general anaesthetic and stress it wouldn't be surprising if it came back with something.

She was clear after her last surgery though so fingers crossed she is clear again🤞🤞

How much shoulder movement does your dog's harness allow?

A well fitted harness should allow the shoulder to move to it's full range without restricting the shoulder blade or the point of shoulder.

Excuse the rough red line but it highlights the shoulder - a harness should fit around the shoulder blade and not over it or across it to avoid soft tissue damage or joint restrictions.

Daily wear of a harness that affects range of motion and alters the gait can over time lead to physical discomfort, increased wear & tear on the body and early arthritis.

Ellie's shoulders and elbows are likely the few good joints in her body, so allowly them to move freely and enabling her body to compensate for her hip dysplasia, spine issues and knees is even more vital! 🫣

She might not be a perfectly sound example of a 6yr old dog but she is looking great for 9wks post surgery 😎

The super cute and fluffy Tilly came in for a new harness yesterday, she had knee surgery the same day as Ellie 😍
