We had the absolute pleasure of Toby coming in for a brush out and maintenance groom 🐾 He’s calmed down so beautifully and is so relaxed with his lovely owners it’s amazing to see how far he’s come. Rescue really is the best breed ❤️❤️”

🌞🐾 Protect Those Precious Paws 🐾🌞

Summer vibes are great for us… but hot pavements can be tough on your dog’s paws! 🐶💛

Why paw care matters in the heat:
🌿 Pavements & sand can get very hot, enough to burn.
🌿 Heat & dryness can cause cracks in paw pads.
🌿 Sore paws = less playtime & more discomfort.

How to protect your pup:
✨ Walk during cooler times early morning or evening.
✨ Test the pavement with your hand , if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them.
✨ Use a dog safe paw moisturiser to keep pads soft & supple.

💧 Bonus Tip: Moisturising paws regularly can help prevent cracks all year round not just in summer!

At Hippy Hounds, we use natural, dog-friendly paw balms that are safe if licked (because we know they will 😉).

We had such a treat today ,our lovely friend Jacoub popped in for his pamper! 💖
It’s always so special to see him and his wonderful owners such a gorgeous, gentle soul with the kindest eyes and always gives us plenty of kisses .

Jacoub left looking fabulous, feeling fresh, and (we think) wearing a little extra sparkle in his step! ✨

These two cheeky little gentlemen, Bert & Ernie, trotted into Hippy Hounds today for their well deserved Pamper Package and what an absolute joy they were! 🐶💕

Full of character, cuddles, and a dash of mischief, these pupsters had us giggling all day. Such sweet, gentle souls with the funniest little personalities they totally melted our hearts. 💜
