It feels so awful to say that two beautiful souls have been lost this week. The beautiful Black Russian Terrier called Noodle and the amazing and gentle Golden Retriever, Lecsi.
It's been a hard week.🥺
I fall in love with dogs very easily, and the more time you spend with them, the more attached you get.
I can't explain how gentle, loving, friendly and calm both of these dogs were. They both had wonderful natures. I think there is definitely something in a dog growing old that turns them in to wonderful old souls. Noodle and lecsi were both certainly that.
I absolutely adored spending time with you and I will miss you immensely.
Even though I was such a small part of your lives, you took up a big part of my heart.
Thank you to both owners for allowing me to spend time with your wonderful dogs. It really does mean the world to me.

I usually have a more equal split of males and females, but 6 females on this group today. Four take part in boisterous play. The cocker spaniel likes to keep herself to herself. And the Black Russian Terrier definitely keeps everyone in check and makes sure that things don't get too over the top!🤪
A busy but great day for me and some tired happy hounds.🙂

A couple of months back, this beautiful boy, Kane, had to be put to sleep. He was older for his breed and was suffering with arthritis which got too bad for pain meds to control in the end.
It's taken me a while to write this post, mostly because I knew it would make me sad to look back at pictures of him. I was right and I write this through very blurry eyes.🥺
I had been walking Kane for nearly 3 and a half years, and I also had the pleasure of having him to stay at my house on occasion.
He was honestly one of the best dogs I have ever known. To say he was a gentle giant is an understatement. He was the biggest, cuddliest baby you could meet. He was amazing with my children, and he was amazing with each and every dog I took him out with, from tiny little dogs, to big dogs. He loved them all and was gentle and playful.. and sometimes rough with those that matched his energy.😂
Kane had the most amazing life, with the most amazing family, and I can only thank you Emma Hughes for enabling me to spend time with him. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to know such an amazing dog. I will never forget him. He leaves a big hole in so many peoples hearts. I will always miss arriving at the house and seeing his happy face to greet me at the window.❤️
