For children aged 9–12
A structured three-month beginner horse-riding programme for children who would like to deepen their understanding of horses, develop practical skills and build a strong foundation in riding.
Throughout 12 progressive modules, children will:
✨ Learn safety rules around horses
✨ Discover the basics of horse care and behaviour
✨ Learn how to groom and prepare a horse for riding
✨ Lead and communicate with a horse from the ground
✨ Mount and dismount safely
✨ Develop a correct and balanced riding position
✨ Learn how to control a horse at walk
✨ Understand how the rider’s hands, legs and body are used
✨ Practise stopping, turning and asking a horse to step backwards
✨ Develop balance and coordination in the saddle
✨ Be introduced to trotting
✨ Learn the basics of rising and sitting trot
Each lesson combines horse care, practical activities, groundwork and riding, helping children develop confidence, coordination, responsibility and respect for horses.

💶 €100 per month
🎓 Upon completion of all 12 modules, each child will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by Pittakouris Riding Club.
All necessary riding equipment is included: helmet, protective footwear and body protector.
To secure your child’s place, an advance payment of €200 for the first two months is required upon registration. The remaining €100 is paid before the third month.
