🍉☀️ Whenever we have watermelon, I always save the lighter, “cucumbery” bottom part with a little bit of red, chill it in the fridge, and give it to the dogs. It helps them stay hydrated on hot days, and they love crunching on it! Of course, I always cut off the dark outer rind (that part isn’t good for them.) The sweeter the watermelon, the more sugar it has, so the pale bottom part is the perfect choice for dogs. Loki has officially kicked off watermelon season here. 😄❤️
