Eva (mom to me) and Holly. 🤍 Eva doesn’t appear on the page very often, but she does a huge amount of work behind the scenes. Here she is with Holly, an anxious dog who comes to daycare with us to slowly get used to being here. We try to create the calmest and safest environment possible for her, so she only comes on days when we have a particularly gentle, peaceful group of dogs. Today is exactly one of those days, so it’s perfect for her. So far, Holly has formed the closest bond with Eva (probably thanks to the 24/7 cuddles and all the little whispered conversations...sometimes I just overhear them discussing how there’s nothing to be afraid of here.)

I decided to try making homemade pasta, mostly out of laziness, because I already had everything I needed at home (and by everything I mean flour and eggs 😃) And I really didn’t want to go to the shop. Have I mentioned how much I hate grocery shopping? Oh wait, is this our dog hotel page and not my personal diary?
