Founded in the early sixties, the Vernon Veterinary Clinic has evolved into a modern animal hospital We have lots of room for parking.

We are a progressive multi-doctor veterinary practice with a combined experience of over sixty years. We offer a high standard of medical, surgical and preventive care for companion and exotic animals. The hospital is located at 805 Kalamalka Lake Road, right across from the Vernon Golf & Country Club. It is a large, bright, air conditioned facility with indoor kennels, outdoor runs. We are open f

Alf is a very, very tall boy with a heart, even bigger ❤️❤️❤️

He could easily look intimidating simply because of his size, but instead is just a big, sweetie who wants to be close to you.

Alf is the kind of boy who makes you smile just by walking into the room. Sometimes the biggest dogs have the softest hearts. And Alf is proof ❤️

We’re pretty sure Dr. Bella has one of the hardest jobs around…...because somehow her work keeps putting her in pens full of puppies!

In between appointments, exams, bloodwork and all the important medical stuff, there are moments like this....getting down on the floor and spending time with the tiniest patients.

And honestly, we think this might be the best part of the job. 🥹❤️

Because veterinary medicine isn’t just about treating illness. It’s about creating a space where animals feel safe, loved and cared for, even when they’re a little nervous about what’s happening.

And if that means sitting in a puppy pen surrounded by wagging tails and puppy kisses…...well, someone has to do it.

Meet Lunar 🌙

Lunar is a beautiful domestic longhair who came in for bloodwork and a little veterinary care. And can we just talk about her outfit?!

Her amazing owner put her in this adorable little suit because it helps Lunar feel calmer and more secure during stressful situations. Sometimes the simplest things can make a BIG difference for our furry patients.

A little extra comfort, a lot of love, and maybe the cutest patient of the day.

Ummm YES. If a puppy is crying and needs to be held to fall asleep, then guess what? We’re gonna hold that puppy.....

We’re pretty great at multitasking around here 😂
