On Saturday, a few members of our team had the privilege of attending the Hearts for Paws fundraiser in support of the Okanagan Humane Society. We are incredibly proud to be one of their veterinary partners and to support an organization that is making such a profound difference in the lives of animals throughout our community ❤️

Did you know?

🐾 Since 1996, the Okanagan Humane Society has spayed or neutered more than 30,000 animals, helping to reduce pet overpopulation and prevent suffering throughout the region.

🐾 The need for their services continues to grow. OHS helped approximately 1,500 animals in 2022, 2,500 animals in 2023, and more than 4,000 animals in 2024 and over 5,000 in 2025.

🐾 In addition to rescuing and rehoming vulnerable animals, OHS offers assistance programs that help pet guardians facing financial hardship access veterinary care, spay/neuter services, vaccinations, identification, and urgent medical supplies.

Their impact is only possible because of the support of compassionate community members, volunteers, foster families, donors, and local partners working together to help animals in need.

There are countless ways you can support this incredible organization. To learn more, volunteer, foster, donate, or get involved, visit:

Thank you to OHS for the life-changing work you do every day. We are honored to stand alongside you in helping local animals live healthier, happier lives. ❤️

It’s Chip Your Pet Month (no…not that chip as much as they want it 🥔)

Pets that are microchipped have significantly higher reunion rates if they get lost—so you can have more moments like these.

DYK: Cats are naturally prone to ear mites, so if you notice ear scratching, it’s worth paying attention. But here’s the thing… even a little outdoor exposure can increase the risk.
Do I sneak outside for fresh air? Does a furry sibling come and go? Even hallway adventures in an apartment can bring unwanted guests like fleas, ticks, or mites.
Ask us how to keep your cat safe from pesky critters. (250) 542-9707
