2025 BERI BREEDER ANNOUNCEMENT!

Ron Hoffman & Rock Frost Snap are back enrolled in the BERI for 2025!

Based out of Vermilion, Alberta, Rafter H Livestock has been producing well minded and versatile horses that can be used in many disciplines for many years. ROCK FROST SNAP, a 2011 Buckskin Stallion by PC BAR DOX FROST by SUNFROST is a new addition to the Rafter H Livestock breeding program but has proven to be a classy and correct stallion!

We are proud to have Ron and ROCK FROST SNAP apart of our Incentive again for 2025!

Lura Tasa Tivio "Tivio" produced a stud c**t on April 26th, sired by Circle Bar Gray Gun (Ed Masson).

This c**t combines proven ranch, cow horse, and performance bloodlines. He is strong, correct, and bred for versatility. Both mare and foal are doing well.

With our SMF year coming to an end, it is time for our General Manager Mattie, to pass the torch off to next year's General Manager, Linsey!

My name is Linsey Edwards and I grew up on a commercial beef farm near Fort St. John BC. I am excited to lead the Equine SMF unit as the General Manager for our 2025-2026 year. I have always had a passion for agriculture and I am motivated to expand my knowledge and build connections in the industry. I am very grateful for the opportunity to guide our team next year and I can’t wait to see what we will achieve!

The SMF unit had an incredible visit at T Bone Cattle Co, exploring their beautiful broodmares and diving deep into their breeding operations! This operation nurtures their foals from fresh newborns to started young horses! A massive thank you to Art Wheat and Jordan Stankievech for generously donating semen. We truly couldn’t do this without the industry’s support, and it means so much to us! We’re thrilled about our future foal and the exciting advancements in our breeding program. We’re especially grateful to have a foal by Ima Metallic Gold for the 2026 foaling season!

The Equine unit has enjoyed many team bonding events this year! We think it's important to have team bonding whenever possible to keep everyone connected, bonding with our first year students, and lastly, have a little fun!
