Paid Intern Position — Lloydminster, AB

It’s that time of year again, and we’re hiring! 🤠

We’re looking for a paid intern to join our team, with a position available ASAP.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Occasional stall cleaning
* Feeding and watering horses and other livestock
* Catching, saddling and grooming
* Putting first rides on c**ts
* Warming up and exercising seasoned horses
* Helping with the day-to-day operation of the program

Experience with horses is required. This position is for someone who already has a solid foundation with horses and riding. This is not a job to learn how to ride horses — it’s an opportunity to learn how to train and develop horses.

Requirements:

* Valid driver’s licence
* Own reliable transportation
* Previous horse experience

🐴 Horse board included — up to 2 horses
🏆 We already have show help, so this position will not involve attending horse shows.

We are looking to add another paid intern to our program !

Duties include but are not limited to:

-stall cleaning
-feeding over 40+ head of livestock including cattle, buffalo and horses.
-catching , grooming, saddling and blanketing
-keeping the barn immaculate
-assisting our trainer and other interns with warming up/ riding .

Must have horse experience and references.
This job offers board for 1 horse only and accommodations.
Candidates must be available to start asap.

This internship allows individuals to learn aspects of a training facility along with show horses and c**t starting. This position will not teach you how to saddle and ride a horse, those skills must be well established before applying.
