When August heat hits, your cat is going to find the fan and claim it as their own and there is nothing you can do about it. Keeping your indoor pets cool this time of year really does matter though!

Fresh water, good airflow, and avoiding the hottest parts of the day can make a big difference for their comfort and health. 🧡

We’re making a few upgrades at Central Nova Animal Hospital - all designed to make your visits easier and your pet’s care more seamless.

On Monday, August 17, 2026, we’re launching a new medical records system designed to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our services, ensuring we continue to provide the highest level of care for your pets.

This means:

Faster access to your pet’s medical history
More accurate records
Easier communication with our team
Temporary Hours for a Smooth Transition

To ensure a successful transition, we will be opening late at 1:00pm on Monday, August 17. We will be happy to refill any prescriptions ahead of this temporary closure and ask that you allow at least 48 hours for prescription refills as we acclimate to the new system.
