✨ The Cat is Coming Back ✨

Mark your calendars — Kitchener Catwalk returns on Saturday, October 4 at 3pm, starting at Brubacher Green.

This is our grassroots neighbourhood walk, where we take to the streets to say hello to the cats of Kitchener. Whether your cat likes to watch from the window, perch on the porch, or cautiously greet new friends in a carrier or on a leash, we’d love to see them.

🐾 Live on the route between Frederick Street and Pandora Avenue? Help us shape the 2025 Catwalk by letting us know about the cats on your street.

🐾 Not on the route? You’re still more than welcome to join us at Brubacher Green to celebrate with fellow cat lovers.
We can’t wait to see the cats (and their people!) that make this community so special.

🎉✨ Happy 3rd Gotcha Day to Poppy (formerly Shea)!

Poppy strutted into her furever home in June 2022 as a skinny little bean… and has since blossomed into a fluffy, mischievous house criminal. 😼

She joined her new family after they said goodbye to their beloved Felix (also a TCR alum). Healing hearts is a big job, but Poppy took it on with gusto: providing laughs, snuggles, and just enough chaos to keep everyone on their toes.

Now she’s the light of her family’s life, a comedian in whiskers, and proof that adopting changes everything. 💖

From tiny rescue kitten ‘Toast’ to beloved ‘house panther’ Witcher — his story has now been featured in Newsweek! 🐾

Witcher’s family () says his bravery and loyalty have brought so much love into their lives. Black cats like Witcher are often overlooked in shelters, but they are every bit as loving, playful, and deserving of a home.
