🎃 Halloween Hazards for Pets 👻

Halloween is a fun and festive time for us—but it can be full of hidden dangers for our furry friends. Here are a few things to keep in mind this spooky season:

🐾 Decorations: Curious pets love to chew! Keep items like plastic streamers, fake cobwebs, and confetti out of reach to prevent accidental ingestion or choking.

🍫 Candy & Chocolate: Chocolate is highly toxic to pets, and other sweets can cause serious stomach upset. Store all treats securely, and remind kids to keep their goodies away from paws and noses.

💥 Fireworks & Loud Noises: Many pets become anxious from loud sounds such as firecrackers and parties. If your pet is sensitive to noise, talk to us at Avon Animal Hospital about calming options or temporary anti-anxiety medication.
