Our veterinary assistants are through with another year of vet school at the Atlantic Veterinary College and we are so proud!

Niharika completed her 1st year of vet school and Alexis finished her 2nd year.

So if you havenā€™t been seeing them around as much, vet school is to blame!!

We are excited to see Niharika and Alexis grow, and to follow along their journey. Congratulate them below ā¬‡ļø as they embark on an exciting summer of new experiences!

Angie got her urinary tract infection rechecked by Dr. Jasmine McKenna. Angie had a UTI 10 days ago, and started antibiotics. A recheck is always recommended to ensure that the UTI has resolved. Dr. McKenna performed an ultrasound guided cystocentesis, a sterile technique to collect urine, ensuring that no bacteria is introduced in the urine during collection. Angie was such a good girl, sitting with Niharika and Sage, our veterinary assistantsā˜ŗļø

In Angieā€™s case, the bacteria had significantly reduced on recheck but had not resolved completely. She went home with hopefully her last dose of antibiotics!
