My sweet friend Presley crossed the rainbow bridge today. 🌈 She became one of my very first grooming clients back in 2018, not long after we opened our doors in Happy Valley.
Presley was full of sass and rarely sat still for her photos. She would jump and wow, could she ever jump high. Grooming wasn’t always her favourite thing, but she trusted me, and together we always made it through. Over time we found our rhythm, and I was so proud of the progress she made.
Her family has been incredibly kind, supportive, and caring through all these years. I’m so grateful for them, and they’ll be close in my thoughts during this difficult time. 💕
Watching these pups grow older and the slow changes that come with age - is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. I feel lucky to have known them in their pep-filled years and honoured that they stay with me even as that pep fades. And no matter how many times it happens, it never gets easier to receive that message that they’re gone. 💔
