Tito the English Bulldog came in for a much-needed dental 🦷🐾

As a brachycephalic breed, Tito has a shorter airway, and after anesthesia some bulldogs politely refuse to give up their breathing tube. Why? Because with the tube in place, they can actually breathe so much better than normal! 😮‍💨💙

Totally expected, closely monitored, and Tito did great once he was ready. Another reminder why extra care is so important for our smoosh-faced friends 🐶✨

How many puppies can you count? 🐶🐶🐶

This litter of Golden Doodles came in for their first vaccines, and to meet the team! Between chewing on shoe laces and happy sqeaks they were the highlight of the day!

🐾✨ Today is International Animal Rights Day — a powerful reminder that animals are not here for us, but with us. Every creature, big or small, deserves to live free from cruelty, exploitation, and neglect. 💔➡️❤️

Here’s how YOU can support animal rights every day:

🌱 Choose cruelty-free and plant-based products
🚫 Say no to animal-tested cosmetics and lab experiments
🐘 Avoid entertainment that exploits animals (circuses, roadside zoos, marine parks)
🏠 Adopt, don’t shop — give a shelter animal a second chance
✊ Speak up against abuse and report it when you see it
📝 Support laws that protect animals and their habitats
📣 Share their stories — awareness leads to change

Animals can’t speak for themselves, so let’s be their voice. 🐶🐷🐮🐔🐬 Because kindness is a right, not a privilege.

🩸 November is Pet Diabetes Month — a time to raise awareness and help pet parents recognize the signs early. 🐾

Did you know?
Diabetes is more common in:
🐶 Middle-aged to senior dogs (especially unspayed females)
🐱 Older, overweight cats (males more commonly affected)

Watch for these signs:
⚠️ Increased thirst & urination
⚠️ Sudden weight loss despite eating
⚠️ Increased appetite
⚠️ Cloudy eyes (dogs)
⚠️ Lethargy or weakness
⚠️ Urinary accidents in previously trained pets

Early diagnosis can lead to a manageable, healthy life with the right care and monitoring. If something feels off, don’t wait — talk to your vet. 💛

We’ve added a brand-new scope to our clinic, and we can’t wait to put it to work! ✨

This advanced equipment will allow us to perform a variety of minimally invasive procedures — including gastrointestinal endoscopy, nasal and airway evaluations, otoscopy, and foreign body retrieval. These techniques help us diagnose concerns more accurately, provide quicker answers, and offer treatment with less discomfort and faster recovery times.

Gus has been managing chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), a condition that disrupts normal gastrointestinal function and often leads to persistent inflammation, diarrhea, and weight loss.

This week, Gus underwent a f***l microbiota transplant (FMT) — a therapeutic procedure in which carefully screened, healthy donor microbiota are introduced into the patient’s gastrointestinal tract.

The goal of FMT is to help reestablish a balanced gut microbial community, which can support improved intestinal health, reduce inflammation, and enhance response to ongoing medical therapy.

Gus tolerated the procedure extremely well, and we’re optimistic about his progress as his gut microbiome begins to rebalance. 🐈❤️💩
