Karl the Yorkie puppy came in yesterday for his neuter and was an absolute champ! 🐾

From the moment he arrived, he won over the hearts of our team—especially Callie, who is obsessed with him. 😉🐶

Karl enjoyed plenty of cuddles and attention while he was with us at Westshore Pet Clinic.

At our clinic, caring for our community goes beyond caring for pets.

We were happy to donate cat and dog-themed baskets that include complimentary veterinary exams to support Lakewood Elementary school fundraiser.

Supporting local families, students, and community events is something that’s very important to us, and we’re grateful to be part of such a wonderful community.

WPC will be closed on Monday, May 18 for Victoria Day! 🇨🇦

As we celebrate the long weekend, we hope you and your pets enjoy some well-deserved time outdoors, whether that’s a walk in the sunshine, a backyard BBQ, or a cozy day at home.

A quick reminder to keep your furry friends safe:
🐾 Watch for foods that can be harmful (like chocolate, onions, and fatty scraps)
🐾 Ensure pets have plenty of fresh water and shade
🐾 Be mindful of fireworks and loud noises—some pets may feel anxious

Happy Veterinary Receptionist Week! 🐾

This week we’re celebrating the incredible humans who keep our clinic running smoothly - Callie and Dasha!

Callie and Dasha are masters of multitasking, compassion, and calm— all at once.

They juggle ringing phones,
manage busy email inboxes,
book and coordinate appointments,
process payments,
handle insurance paperwork,
create client profiles/records,
receive and organize inventory orders,
greet patients and clients,
dispense treats,
And do many other things!

We truly couldn’t do what we do without Callie and Dasha!

Thank you for your organization, your compassion and your sense of humor.

We appreciate you!

Last week, we pressed pause on the busy clinic life to celebrate something special !

Our RVT Lindsay will be off on maternity leave!

There was lunch, cake, lots of laughs—and of course, a little friendly competition putting diapers on teddy bears (turns out it’s harder than it looks 🧸😂).

We’ll miss you Lindsay while you’re away, but we’re so excited for this next chapter in your life! 💗👶
