In Loving Memory of Juno❤️

Some dogs leave paw prints on our hearts; Juno became part of the very fabric of her family’s lives. A gentle and devoted German Shepherd, she was a steadfast source of comfort, companionship, and unconditional love for more than ten years. She shared an especially profound bond with her dad, whose days were shaped by her loyal presence. She was a trusted companion, a source of comfort through life’s ups and downs, and a cherished member of the family whose presence brought a sense of peace and belonging.
Despite her size, Juno was known for her gentle nature, kind heart, and friendly spirit, touching the lives of family, friends, and neighbours alike. After a courageous battle with osteosarcoma, she was peacefully released from her pain on a beautiful sunny day in the garden, surrounded by the family who loved her so dearly.
Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, the love, devotion, and treasured memories she leaves behind will remain forever.

“Rest easy, our sweet Juno. October 14th 2015 – April 4th 2026
Our hearts are completely broken. Yesterday, we said goodbye to our sweet Juno.
For over 10 years, Juno was the gentle soul of our home. She was the most loyal companion we could have ever asked for—always wanting to be near us and especially following Dave everywhere she could.
This year has been incredibly difficult as she battled osteosarcoma, but through it all, she never lost her sweet nature. She remained the same gentle, loving girl until the very end, still doing her best to be the constant companion she always loved to be.
While the house feels far too quiet today, we are finding peace knowing she is finally free from pain and back on her feet again.
We want to truly thank our family, friends, and neighbours for your incredible support during this time. To those who visited her and helped us through these last few months—it meant the world to us and to Juno.
Thank you for ten beautiful years, Juno. You are loved beyond measure.”

Some souls leave paw prints that could never possibly fade, and sweet Akira was one of them. With her striking blue eyes, signature sass, adventurous spirit, and endless capacity for love, Akira filled every chapter of her family’s life with unforgettable memories and laughter. From cottage adventures and paddleboarding days to her infamous “sneaky tail” escapes, she was truly one of a kind - equal parts mischievous, majestic, and deeply comforting.
The bond shared between Akira and her family is the kind of love that stays woven into the heart forever. We were so honoured to care for this beautiful girl, and to share in the story of a life so profoundly cherished.

“You joined our family as a young 3 year old pup and said goodbye to us as a beautiful 16 year old girl. We have so many great memories of you, from riding in the jeep, paddleboarding at the cottage or just your daily silliness like having to stand, sit or lay on any table or platform that wasn’t meant to be a dog spot. You came to us when we had other furry family members, for which you helped us say goodbye to over the years. You were sassy from your striking blue eyes all the way to your floofy butt. We could always tell when you were up to no good when your tail that normally curled onto your back would slowly lower down. We dubbed that as “sneaky tail”. It usually happened just before you would wonder off for a run that would send us worried and searching all over for you for hours, only to return home and find you laying on the porch giving us the “where have you guys been, I’m hungry” look. You never had a problem telling us what you felt, and also taught your current non-husky sibling Shamus to howl. The way you would gently rest your head on my lap and let me rub those teddy bear ears, could heal any hurt I was feeling. You will be so missed by us all and forever loved xoxo.”

In Loving Memory of River💛

River was loved in the deepest, truest sense of the word. She belonged to a family who loved wholeheartedly and without reservation. Their connection was the kind that changes you forever.
River gave that same love back tenfold: quietly, faithfully, and with a presence that made people feel safe, seen, and comforted.
One of the greatest acts of love we can offer our pets is the courage to listen when they tell us their body is tired and ready to rest. River’s family heard her with open hearts and gave her the gentle, peaceful goodbye she deserved - surrounded by love, gratitude, and the comfort of home.
A love like River’s does not end; it simply continues in a different form, always present.

Sweet Luna was the heart of her pack - a natural protector with a deeply nurturing soul. She took on her role as mama bear effortlessly, watching over those she loved with quiet devotion. Surrounded by a big, love-filled family, she knew a life of connection, purpose, and belonging - and gave that same love back tenfold.❤️
At just six years old, her passing carries a particular kind of heartbreak - one that comes when a life so full of love is taken too soon. And yet, in the time she was here, Luna lived deeply and taught us all how to love with your whole heart.

She was equal parts fierce protector and soft-hearted lover.

In loving memory of Diamond 💎❤️

Some souls come into our lives at exactly the moment we need them most - and in loving them, they help us find a strength we didn’t know we had. Diamond, aka Lady D, was that kind of soul. The kind who didn’t just share life with you, but helped you keep going when everything felt heavy. This is a reflection of a love that was, and still is, deep, real, and life-changing. The depth of the grief speaks to the depth of the love shared.
We were so honoured to care for Diamond, and we’re sending so much love and support to her mom as she navigates this heartbreaking loss.
Diamond’s deeply devoted mom shares these words in her memory.

“Dear Diamond 
Since you’ve been gone I don’t know how to exist without you, I am broken and you’re not here to put me back together. It’s become very clear that I needed you much more than you needed me. 
You showed me unconditional love when I thought the whole world was against me, you saved me in a way that no one else could have, you healed a heart that you didn’t break ,you gave me a reason to keep fighting. You made me laugh every day and you showed me what love actually is. You didn’t want me to be anyone else but me. You knew me better than anybody else in the world. I will never forget you.
