Offering a pick up and drop off service right from your home, we take your dog to a variety of different walking spots with a group of up to 6, for a 75 minute on leash walk. Big focus on creating a calm, relaxed dog through various training techniques and pack exercises.

Thunderstorms rolled in and helped clear the air, but unfortunately, that meant walks couldn't go ahead this afternoon.

We never like to cancel our walking appointments, but summer means doing what's best for our pack in extreme weather!

We had a fun but hot day! ❤️
Heatwave and storms incoming this week... although I'm hoping the storms blow over as they sometimes do.

Walks are always modified during the hotter months. Today was a day for shade hopping and a lot of water. Buying a remote start for my car is by far my fave purchase so far for the business! The pups get to finish up their walk in a cooled down car. The best. 🧊

It's tick season y'all!

If you walk the Blackwell Trails, you're going to attract some of our least fave bugs, ticks. I mean, they're everywhere at this time of year, but this spot is especially tick ridden.

We've started using a tick repellent on us and our pack, and we perform ticks checks after walks. Behind the ears, base of the tail, belly and necks are some prime spots those guys like to bury in.

If you haven't already, it's a good time to start thinking about flea/tick prevention for your pup. ❤️

Pack walking relies heavily on the relationship we have with our dogs. We build on this through clear communication. Dogs love to follow a leader, and they're wired to follow one who is calm and confident. Over time our pack learns to trust and respect us heavily, it's what I love most about running this business. Being able to take a large group of dogs out to busy parks and trails is such a gift.

Our job is to literally make best friends with your dog. Best. Job. Ever. ❤️

I got to see my gal pals Pearl and Sophie this morning, a perfect day for their pupdate! 🥰🐾

Pearl is our sweet and somewhat cautious girl. She loves to meet new friends, but does love her sister the most. Her safe space and comfort! She's also quite fond of our tiny Doodles, Rory, Kali and Charlie. Pearl took to pack life seamlessly, she just tucks herself into the pack and enjoys her walk. She has a high desire to please and has warmed up to me so well, a real loyal gal!

Sophie has added a fun loving, high energy to the pack, she fits in perfectly with Ziggy and Blue our resident Huskies. She is a full of beans pack member and loves to have a job. But she'll happily slide down into the grass and roll around when you least expect it. 😂 She's absolutely hilarious. Whenever she's on the long leash she enjoys herding us, running circles around us before I reel her in. Also hilarious.

I'm super lucky I get to spend time with these amazing dogs, it's been such a joy watching them blossom in the pack! Love ya gals. ❤️

Hot weeks call for walks by the water! ⛱️
We caught a nice breeze today and managed to stay relatively cool.

The Bat Pack turns 4 at the end of this summer and I still can't believe this is what I get to do every day. We are so lucky! ❤️

Well that's it for another week with the pack! Next month we welcome in the start of summer, we got a little taste of it today. 🌞

The dogs slow down, we put in less kilometres, but we still manage to get our exercise in. Slowing down gives us the opportunity to observe the world, we did a lot of this today. Such an underrated skill, being able to just be still and watch the world go by. Meditation time for all of us.

Last week of May! It's time to focus on some summer plans with the dogs. 🌞

We went to Confed Kennels pool a few times last year and had the best time. Did you know you can rent it by the hour?! A great option to beat the heat.

I'm feeling pretty lucky I get to make another welcome post this week. Welcome to the crew, POTATO!! 🥰🐾

This sweet, tiny guy joined the little crew on Tuesdays in order to make some new pals and gain confidence out in the big wide world with them. I met with Potato and his owner a couple of times before he joined the pack. It was clear to me he was a good boy, just a bit nervous about greeting new dogs at first. But on his first real walk, I saw him gradually open up and be very brave, which was so encouraging. His tail untucked, and his body language relaxed. I could tell this guy loves his walkies!!

I'm so glad you joined us, little one, I'm super excited to gain your trust and take you on adventures with your friends! Welcome to the Pack! ❤️
