Did you know fleas and mosquitoes aren’t just annoying they can also carry diseases that affect both pets and people?

As the weather warms up, it’s a good time to think about prevention for your pets and outdoor spaces. Fleas can quickly spread through pet bedding, carpets, and grassy areas, while mosquitoes thrive anywhere standing water collects.

A few simple ways to help reduce pests include:
• Keeping grass trimmed
• Removing standing water from buckets and planters
• Washing pet bedding regularly
• Checking pets often for signs of fleas or irritation
