🐾 A Friendly Reminder to Dog Owners 🐾

The Town of Renfrew has recently received a number of complaints regarding off-leash dogs and dog waste along local trails and public spaces.

As a reminder, all dogs must be kept on-leash at all times in public areas and on Town trails, in accordance with the Town of Renfrew’s Dog By-Law. The only designated off-leash area within the community is the Renfrew Lions Club Dog Park.

Residents are also reminded that dog owners are required to pick up after their pets and dispose of waste properly, including while using bush trails and natural areas.

Let’s all do our part to keep our trails clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone this summer. Thank you for your cooperation! ☀️
