🌲 THE FUR TREE IS MOVING! 🐾

I have some exciting news to share with all my wonderful Fur Tree clients! ❤️

As of January 19, 2027, The Fur Tree will be relocating from Petland to Ace’s K9 Care! ✂️🐩

This move is an important step for me personally, as it will allow me to work much closer to home. With some ongoing health challenges, a shorter commute will make a big difference in helping me manage my health and, hopefully, allow me to provide appointments with fewer cancellations. My goal is to keep doing what I love while making things more sustainable for me long-term. ❤️

📍 Worried about the distance? Ace’s K9 Care is only approximately 6 km from my current location at Petland, so it’s still a relatively short trip!

📅 JANUARY–JUNE PRE-BOOKING IS COMING SOON!

I’ll be releasing my pre-booking form for January through June shortly! If you’d like to continue having your pets groomed by me at Ace’s K9 Care, keep an eye out for the form.

Please read before filling it out: If you do not wish to follow The Fur Tree to its new location, please do not fill out the upcoming pre-booking form. This will help me plan my schedule accurately as I transition to my new space.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has trusted me with their furry family members. Your continued support means so much to me, and I’m excited to start this next chapter of The Fur Tree with you! 🌲🐾

Thank you for growing with me! ❤️

Good morning! I am way way way behind on messages!
I was away for 6 days at MasterGroom Canada and even beforehand I was getting overwhelmed with messages. I’ll be starting on those when I’m home from work today.
Adding to the volume of messages is a couple of groomers in PG going on leave, leaving a lot of clients without a groomer. There already isn’t enough of us around.
Please be patient with me while I get through this backlog of messages. They can be difficult to keep up on as I get so many.

We are on our way to Red Deer for the biggest dog grooming competition in Canada, MasterGroom Canada 🇨🇦
The salon will be closed and I’ll be unable to respond to messages until my return to work on July 29th 🩷

Apologies! I am behind on messages! I will be doing catch up the next couple days. Reminder that TEXT is the best way to get in contact with me, thank you!

📅 A Friendly Reminder About Appointments & My Cancellation Policy 🐾

Hi everyone! I just wanted to post a quick reminder as I've had several last-minute cancellations recently.

If you have pre-booked appointments, please take a moment to check your upcoming dates and times to make sure they still work with your schedule. If you notice any conflicts, please send me a text message as soon as possible so we can hopefully find another time.

Not sure when your next appointments are? No problem! Just send me a text, and I'll happily send you a list of all your upcoming appointments.

Cancellation Policy:
🐾 More than 48 hours' notice: No cancellation fee.
🐾 48–24 hours' notice: 50% of the scheduled appointment fee.
🐾 Less than 24 hours' notice (or no-shows): 100% of the scheduled appointment fee.

As a small business, every appointment time is reserved specifically for your pet. Unlike larger businesses, I can't easily absorb the lost income when appointments are cancelled at the last minute, and it's often too late to fill that time with another client.

I truly appreciate everyone's understanding and support. Your consideration helps keep my schedule running smoothly and allows me to continue providing the best care possible for all of your wonderful pups. ❤️🐶

Thank you so much for supporting my small business!

The schedule for the rest of 2026 is out! All current clients should have gotten a bunch of automated text messages with dates and times, if you need help, let me know I will text you a picture of your schedule.
If you need to make changes please TEXT 778-675-5775 don’t text the automated message number I don’t get those messages and can’t respond! If you text and have no response in a couple of days it’s because your message got buried (sometimes I get 30+ a day), if this happens text me again!
If you got missed in the scheduling it wasn’t intentional I promise, reach out to me by text with your availability and let’s get you in there.
Once all the current clients have all been scheduled I will assess if there is room for new clients! Thank you all for your patience 🩷🩷🩷 Let’s make puppies pretty for the rest of 2026!
PS I absolutely LOVE these tropical butterfly refreshers made with water from Starbucks. They’re pretty and also pretty delicious.

This weekend I am attending West Coast Groom Fest in Chilliwack, BC.
This is an opportunity for me to compete, network and learn all the latest and greatest products and techniques to keep your pets not only looking good, but safe and comfortable.
From May 29th through June 1st the salon will be closed while I hone my craft! During this time I will be unable to respond to messages or phone calls. Thank you for your patience!
