Good morning we are seeking a new medical foster placement for this girl to heal for a few days she has medication and a cone on she needs space to heal her current foster is not working out as this pup is being bossy with the Foster’s own dog . If we could fine a place where she could be kept separate that would be best or no other dogs that is ideal please text or call 250-617-1419 . ‼️‼️‼️‼️
🚨❤️ RESCUE NEEDS YOUR HELP — WE CANNOT KEEP DOING THIS ALONE. ❤️🚨
Rescue is so much more than cuddling puppies and kittens, finding loving homes, and sharing those wonderful happy-ending adoption stories. As beautiful as those moments are, there is a side of rescue that is heartbreaking, exhausting, and incredibly expensive.
It's the side where animals are suffering, where emergency calls come in, where lives depend on someone stepping up, and where we have to find a way to make things happen, no matter how difficult the circumstances.
Every day, we receive calls for help. Animals needing spay and neuter surgeries, vaccinations, food, transportation to veterinary appointments, medical treatments, emergency surgeries, and sometimes complete support when families have nowhere else to turn.
And we try. We really do try to say YES whenever we can.
This is just one of those heartbreaking calls. A sweet girl had been attacked and was desperately in need of medical attention. It took days of arranging transportation, organizing her flight, finding a kennel, and making sure every detail was in place to get her safely here.
We refused to give up on her. We got her here, got her the medical treatment she desperately needed, and placed her in a medical foster home where she could finally rest and begin healing.
But that YES came with a very large veterinary bill.
She still needs another veterinary appointment for her follow-up examination and stitch removal, and while we know she deserves every bit of care she needs, the reality is that we are running out of financial room to keep helping.
💔 THIS IS THE PART OF RESCUE THAT PEOPLE DON'T ALWAYS SEE.
The calls don't stop coming. The animals don't stop needing help. The medical emergencies don't wait until our bills are paid or our bank accounts have recovered.
We are constantly trying to stretch every dollar, cover every expense, and find a way to help the next animal. But we have reached a point where we desperately need our community to stand behind us.
We cannot continue this work without financial support.
We don't want to turn away the next injured dog. We don't want to say no to the next emergency. We don't want an animal to suffer because we simply cannot afford to get them the help they need.
But the truth is, if we don't get support, there will come a time when we have no choice.
We are asking you today, from the bottom of our hearts, PLEASE HELP US KEEP GOING.
