🚨 STRAY ALERT 🚨

Well, someone decided to make a new friend today! 😆

This handsome fellow was found on Nootka, casually saying hello to someone in their garage - apparently he figured it was as good a place as any to stop by for a visit.

If you recognize him or believe he may be yours, please contact us.

Meet Tilly 🐾

Tilly is one of those cats you really need to meet outside of the Centre to fully appreciate. She can be a shy gal here and doesn’t exactly go out of her way to show adopters just how lovely she is. Thankfully, her foster home has given us a peek at the real Tilly - and there is so much to love about this girl.

Tilly came into our care heavily pregnant and went on to raise six beautiful kittens like an absolute champ. She did the mom thing. She did it well. Her babies have now packed their tiny imaginary suitcases and headed off on adventures of their own, and Tilly has officially clocked out of motherhood.

Now it’s her turn. ❤️

In a home, Tilly blossoms into the sweetest, funniest, chattiest little character. She has opinions. Many of them. If you’re doing something she considers noteworthy - or perhaps doing it incorrectly - Tilly will happily join the conversation and provide commentary. No need to wonder what she thinks. She’ll tell you.

She’s also a serious love bug. Tilly welcomes new people into her circle pretty quickly, particularly if they arrive prepared to pay the required admission fee: pets and snuggles. Bonus points if these services can be provided beside a sunny window, because Tilly is a gal who appreciates ambience.

When she isn’t supervising the neighbourhood from her favourite window, you’ll likely find her perched somewhere up high. Bookshelves, tall cat trees, the highest available lounging location - Tilly likes a good vantage point from which to quietly oversee her kingdom.

And then… THE ZOOMIES BEGIN.

Once comfortable, this formerly reserved little lady apparently transforms into a bouncing, furniture-leaping, cat-wand-chasing blur. Walls may be involved. Furniture may be involved. Dignity is absolutely not involved. 😂

Tilly can live alongside other adult cats and has done well with dogs once given time to settle in and get to know them. In fact, she seems to have a bit of a soft spot for her canine friends and occasionally becomes a little too comfortable with them - apparently personal space is more of a suggestion in Tilly’s world. She does, however, listen when they tell her they’ve had enough.

As for kittens? After raising six of her own, Tilly would like it formally documented that she has fulfilled her kitten quota, thank you very much. She’ll tolerate the little hooligans to a point, but adult company is much more her speed.

Tilly may not be the cat who puts on her best performance inside the Centre. She needs a little time and the comfort of a home for all those wonderful layers to appear. Give her that chance and underneath the shy first impression is an affectionate, playful, wonderfully quirky girl who will chat with you, cuddle with you, make you laugh, and keep a close eye on absolutely everything you’re doing.

Tilly spent her first chapter with us making sure six little lives got the very best start possible. Now it’s her turn to be someone’s baby. ❤️

Meet Simon! 🐾

Simon is the kitten equivalent of that quiet person hanging out in the corner at a party. Not particularly interested in all the noise and nonsense, thank you very much. But go over, spend a little time with him, and suddenly you realize he might actually be the best company in the room.

A shyer, quieter little guy, Simon likes to approach life on his own terms. He enjoys playing with toys, but he'd rather decide when the game begins than be dropped into the middle of the action. Fair. Super fair.

Simon really enjoys the company of other cats and would benefit from a home with a friendly resident feline who can become his future BFF. His preference? A nice, respectful pal. The loud, obnoxious types need not apply. 😆

Underneath that reserved exterior is a very sweet, affectionate boy who just needs a little time and a quieter environment to let his personality shine. 🖤

🔹️I'm ADOPTED!🔹️

🌲 Meet Birch! 🌲

If you're looking for a puppy who's equal parts adventure buddy, cuddle companion, and certified good boy, we'd like to introduce you to Birch.

Birch has never met a stranger. People? Amazing. Other puppies? Even better. New adventures? Count him in! This confident little guy takes life in stride and approaches the world with a wagging tail and a curious heart.

For a puppy, Birch is surprisingly level-headed. Sure, he still has his goofy zoomie moments (it's basically written into the puppy job description), but he's also happy to hang out, soak up the world around him, and check in with his favourite humans. He's incredibly attentive, eager to learn, and happens to believe treats are the greatest invention of all time - which makes training a whole lot of fun!

One look into those sweet puppy eyes, and you'll have a shadow for life. Whether you're hiking a trail, exploring the beach, tackling weekend projects, or just binge-watching your favourite show on the couch, Birch is fully prepared to become your number one canine best friend.

As for what breed he is... your guess is as good as ours! He's a delightful mystery mix with one thing we do know for certain: he's expected to grow into a big boy with an even bigger heart.

Birch is the kind of puppy who comes along once in a while - the one who seems to have all the ingredients to become an incredible lifelong companion. All that's missing is someone to show him the way.

Think Birch might be your perfect match? Submit an application and come meet this very special boy. We have a feeling you won't leave without him. ❤️

Are you looking to welcome a fuzzy new family member to your household? Well look no further than Jelly Bean!

Jelly Bean loves to have her day jam-packed with fun, and is sure to invent new ways to make it so! Toys, shoelaces, other family members, Jelly Bean can turn anything into a toy for endless entertainment! Sass is like a second language for Jelly Bean, and she is sure to bring a smile to anyone's face with her silly antics.

While Jelly Bean is a fan of being on-the-go, she is quite content to settle down for some snuggles once she's burned off that extra bit of steam. When she's snoozing, it's easy to forget how much mayhem she caused earlier in the day.

Although Jelly Bean is happy to share her space with humans she can love and play with, she would prefer to be the only feline in the home.

If you are interested in welcoming Jelly Bean into your home, hit the link below to submit a pre-adoption questionnaire!

Meet Benny, a tiny kitten with a big personality, an even bigger sense of humour, and absolutely no plans to quietly sit on the sidelines.

Benny is the first to greet you, the first to investigate whatever you're doing, and quite possibly the first to turn it into a game. He's incredibly curious and observant, always keeping tabs on the action and looking for his next opportunity for a little mischief. And yes, he usually finds one.

Playtime is serious business for Benny. He loves romping around with his siblings, playing with people, and tackling pretty much any toy that crosses his path. Tall cat towers are an especially big hit - the higher the better, because apparently Benny has recently added "feline parkour enthusiast" to his résumé.

For all his antics, this little guy is also one heck of a purr machine. His motor seems far too powerful for such a wee kitten, and it doesn't take much to get it going. Add in his adorable little chirps, ridiculously cute pink nose, and natural talent for making people laugh, and Benny is pretty hard to resist.

Outgoing, playful, curious and endlessly entertaining, Benny is ready to bring his tiny motor, parkour skills and mischievous little personality to his forever home.

Meet Snickers 🐾

Snickers is what we like to call the socialist of butterflies. 😂 People are her thing. She loves them. She would like more of them. And ideally, she would like those people to understand that wherever they are going, Snickers is also going.

Heading to the kitchen? She'll come supervise. Folding laundry? Quality control has arrived. Sitting down for five minutes? Excellent, she was wondering when you'd make yourself available for affection. Snickers takes her supervisory duties very seriously, and frankly, her performance reviews are outstanding.

This beautiful torbie gal is veeeery affectionate and absolutely thrives on being part of whatever her humans are doing. She also happens to be fluent in the universal human-cat language: pat or tap a spot beside you and Snickers understands the assignment. She'll be hopping up at full speed, ready to join you.

And treats? Thrilled. Delighted. Deeply supportive of any household that believes snacks should be distributed regularly. But honestly, aren't we all?

While Snickers adores her human friends, she'd be perfectly happy to skip the feline siblings and enjoy the luxurious life of an only feline child. More people for her, fewer cats competing for prime supervisory positions. Seems reasonable.

If you're looking for a gorgeous, affectionate little shadow who will follow you around, keep tabs on household operations, and make absolutely certain you never feel lonely again, Snickers may just be your gal. ❤️
