Powell River Trail Riders Club Founded in 1965, PRTRC is a club for horse lovers in Powell River and the surrounding area to connect with other horse people.

We are blessed with a beautiful arena and clubhouse located at the Paradise Exhibition Park off Padgett Road.

A couple weeks ago, Powell River hosted our Second Annual Working Equitation Horse Show! It was extremely successful, with lots of spectators and very happy competitors. Everyone made it through safely and did a wonderful job showing off this sport to the community. We also did a great job of representing our town and facility to all the competitors, most of whom were from elsewhere and came all the way here for our beautiful show. We couldn’t have done it without the very generous support of our sponsors and our volunteers.

Welcome to Powell River Trail Riders! Our club was founded in 1965 and is one of the oldest groups in the area. Our facility is the hub of the equine community here in PR/Q and we are committed to maintaining the facility so that it can remain in use for many years to come. Although we do not often do group trail rides anymore- we do bring in many clinicians of different backgrounds each year and host lessons and events all year long. Membership perks include use of the equestrian facilities!
