**Registered Highland Yearling Bull | Prince Edward County, Ontario**
Nashville (Nash) is a sound young bull with a strong pedigree, a beautiful deep red coat with striking brindle, and plenty of potential as he continues to mature.

Nash brings together established Highland bloodlines, including Windlough Dundee 1D, Xella of Willow Wisp, Gryphon Ridge's Arctic Brrrbon, and Clachan Glas Zantha.
Nash was named **Reserve Champion Bull at the Lombardy Highland Show**, competing against two-year-old bulls.
He is a sound, structurally correct young bull who is developing nicely through his front end and chest. Like many yearling Highland bulls, he still has considerable maturing to do, particularly in developing depth of body and thickness through his body and hindquarter. He needs more time and groceries to reach his full potential, but we are pleased with the direction he is heading.
Nash has been extensively handled as part of our show string and is well accustomed to the routine that comes with preparing and exhibiting cattle. He is halter broke and has been regularly tied, bathed, blown out, clipped, brushed, and fussed over.
Around the barn, Nash is comfortable with people, enjoys a good scratch, and is accustomed to us entering his pen, brushing him, and working around him. He has a pleasant disposition in familiar surroundings, although he can be strong-willed, particularly in unfamiliar situations.
While he is accustomed to being led on a halter, we recommend utilizing his bull ring for additional control when moving or handling him in unfamiliar environments.
Nash has also reached the age where his interest in the ladies is beginning to outweigh his enthusiasm for the show ring, which is part of our decision to offer him as a breeding prospect.
**Breeding Soundness & Health**
Nash underwent a veterinary breeding soundness examination at just 12 months of age and was classified as a **Satisfactory Potential Breeder**. Although early for Highlands, we wanted to ensure anything entering our show string would make a potential future breeder. His semen was noted as immature, which is not unexpected at that age, but his overall results were exceptional for such a young bull. Our veterinarian was very pleased with his development and felt he could have serviced approximately five cows during his yearling season.
We chose not to breed him this year as he was part of our show string, so he remains an unproven breeding bull.
A repeat breeding soundness examination can be arranged at the purchaser's expense if desired.

Nash has been a pleasure to raise and work with. He's still very much a young bull with growing and maturing ahead of him, but we believe he has a lot to offer the right breeding program.
