✨Teddy is still available… ✨
We took him in to help train him and prevent him from being euthanized at the shelter he was at. We almost always have at least one rescue dog staying with us (unfortunately right now we have four times that many) and we do this with zero funding, and we believe every dog can have a good life and shouldn’t be euthanized.
But getting back to Teddy, he’s been here longer than any of them and to no surprise, we’re not an official rescue and we don’t have any foot traffic coming through here from people looking to adopt dogs. This makes it significantly harder to actually find homes for these dogs. We take them in so they don’t get killed, but at the end of the day, they should have a home to live in.

So if you are interested, or know anyone interested, or at the very least can help by sharing this post, then that would be absolutely amazing!

Thank you to all the phenomenal animal advocates out there, and let’s keep protecting these guys!

🚨 NEW SERVICE ALERT

At Black Hill Dog Company, we understand that your dog’s behaviour in public is only as good as what you prepare them for in training.

One on one lessons are great, but some dogs might benefit from that extra step! To help facilitate this, we will now be offering semi-private lessons for small groups of up to 3 dogs.

This will allow participants to practice impulse control, confidence, and neutrality around distractions in a safe and supportive environment. 🐕🐾
