Sondra Blair-Beveridge / Sondra Shantz is coming for a clinic November 15th!! We have some private and small group spaces available for outside Riders!

$100 for 45 min private lessons & $70 for groups lessons

Sondra Shantz is an Eventing Competition Coach Specialist with experience competing at the 3* level in Eventing and at the Prix St.
George level in Dressage. With over 25 years of horse experience, from starting young horses and re-training horses to competing throughout Ontario and the US and coaching students up to Training/CCI* level, she combines strong horsemanship with targeted goal setting for each horse-and-rider pair. With a positive, encouraging teaching style, riders of all levels and abilities are welcome, whether your goal is to compete at high levels or simply improve your relationship With your horse.

We are so excited to host Our Jason Irwin clinic is tomorrow & Sunday! It’s going to be a beautiful weekend for it. Clinic starts 9am - 4pm, Spectators welcome. $30/day or $50/weekend. Please sign in and pay upon arrival.

Parking for spectators is along the main barn. Our entry gate at the top of our property is closed at all times so please open and close it behind you upon entry. Seating is along the top grass bank overlooking the arena.

2 years!!! How crazy is that.

Today marks 2 years that The Balanced Ride has been an equestrian facility and I couldn’t be more proud of the space I have created.

It’s wild how fast time flys by. Even more so when you get the opportunity to live such a dream life. It’s hard AF sometimes to hold it all together but it’s also such a pleasure to build something so amazing and love what you do everyday! I am grateful to be surrounded by the best barn family and clients.

We are looking for someone to join our The Balanced Ride team!!

Beginner Coach & Stable hand.

We are looking for someone who’s looking to trade board or riding time for work. (This is not a paid position, at this time) we have indoor & outdoor spaces available.

Requirements 🦄
- confident in horse handling, care etc.
- knowledge and experienced in riding
- coaching experience in English & western a plus but one or the other is also great! Will train the right person, coaching position will be with beginner/ novice riders.
- must enjoy children and teaching others
- have own or reliable transportation
- have a like minded and drama free personality
- able to work evenings and / or weekends
- physically able to pick stalls / fill water buckets / feed horses etc

What a fun day schooling cross country at Abydos.
Bailey and I just walked around because I still can’t ride properly yet but fun was had by all!!
These girls were rocking it jumping with confidence and all smiles around the courses!
