Curious about Rally Obedience but not sure what it’s all about? Our one-hour Try-It session is the perfect way to explore this fun and engaging dog sport with no long-term commitment.

Rally Obedience combines basic obedience skills with teamwork, communication, and a touch of problem-solving. Handlers and their dogs follow a course of stations, each with a sign that outlines a simple exercise — from sits and downs to turns, figure-eights, and more. Unlike traditional obedience, Rally is upbeat, supportive, and all about building connection with your dog.

During this session you and your dog will:
• Learn what Rally Obedience is and how it works
• Practice a few common signs and exercises
• Experience working as a team on a short course
• Discover how Rally can improve focus, manners, and confidence

Even if you never plan to compete, Rally has real-life benefits:
• Builds better leash manners and attention in distracting places
• Strengthens your dog’s ability to listen and respond promptly
• Boosts confidence through clear communication and achievable challenges
• Deepens your bond by turning training into a fun, shared activity

Length: 1 hour

Sharing this not just because it’s a fabulous expo!!(which is a fantastic event that I would love to go to)…..

But also because we hear to many times, he’s still chasing the ball, so he can’t be hurt he will run it off or we only have one more run, he doesn’t look like he’s in pain 😢. There are so many subtle signs we should be aware off to really help our best friends.

Why are puppy teeth so sharp? 🐶🦷

Those tiny needle teeth aren’t there to torment you (even if it feels that way!). Puppy teeth are:
✨ Thin and pointy so they can grip food and toys easily.
✨ Temporary – they’re designed for learning, not lasting.
✨ Teaching tools – when pups nip too hard, it hurts, and littermates (or humans) stop playing. That’s how they learn bite control.

Why not grab your puppy’s mouth?
Holding or squeezing a puppy’s mouth when they nip doesn’t teach them to control their bite – it just teaches them that hands can be scary. Instead, redirect to a toy, or pause play so they learn gentle mouths keep the fun going.

Your pup’s sharp teeth are nature’s way of helping them learn – not a reason to punish.
