Considering whether you and your dog may enjoy volunteering as a therapy dog team? No plans for later this afternoon?

The Therapy Dog Exploration class begins at 4:30pm today and some spots have opened so you still have time to register!

This class is for dogs who have good public manners and are curious and gently happy about interacting with people. It is for people who are interested in learning whether volunteering as a Therapy Dog team is for them. The curriculum of the class is for teams who would like to learn and work on dog and hander skills that will support the safety and comfort of those being visited, the staff of the facility, the dog handler, the dog and other people who may be in the same area.

POOL RENTALS THIS WEEKEND
Mary and River are heading to Belleville with Gina and Louie this weekend. Todd will be home holding down the fort and there are lots of rentals available at Avalon Ranch if you and your dogs are trying to cool off. Just text Mary 613-432-4344 and indicate how long and what day/time works best for you.
Please note ONLY dogs who have had an intro to the pool can rent.
If your dog was only on the ramp you can rent but do not let them loose on the dock at all and don’t let them try it for the first time without an instructor present.
If your dog was off the dock during your lesson then there are no restrictions.
Quick reminder to not let your dogs p*e near the dock, the smell is unpleasant in the heat.
