We had the sweetest little visitor at Georgian Animal Hospital today! 🐱💕

This adorable kitten came in with the cutest snood, and we couldn't get enough of the cozy look! From tiny purrs to curious little whiskers, this little one brightened everyone's day. 🧶✨

Our team made sure this precious kitten received lots of gentle care, cuddles, and attention during their visit. It's patients like these that remind us why we love what we do! ❤️

We saw the sweetest little patient at Georgian Animal Hospital the other day, and honestly, we're still not over it. 🐶❤️

This adorable pup was serving major "employee of the month" energy—greeting everyone with tail wags, puppy eyes, and enough charm to melt an entire waiting room.

We're pretty sure they thought the hospital was actually a spa day... and who could blame them? 😄

10/10 good dog.
12/10 smile.

🥯🐶 Beagle personality breakdown at Georgian Animal Hospital! 🐶🥯

We’re not saying beagles come in different “models”… but this photo of four of them is making us question everything we thought we knew about consistency 😄

From left to right:

🐾 The Nose-First Beagle — living life one scent trail at a time. Has never once ignored a smell. Ever.

🐾 The Concerned Beagle — definitely heard something. Possibly a leaf. Possibly a crisis. Still investigating.

🐾 The Chaos Beagle — running on excitement, snacks, and questionable decisions. No brakes. Only vibes.

🐾 The Judgey Beagle — silently questioning why training treats are not being delivered faster. Disappointed but polite… for now.

Same breed. Four completely different personalities. All absolutely iconic. 🐶💛

Get to know our staff !!!!
Krissy, Veterinary Assistant
I have loved animals my entire life and always hoped to end up in a career in the field of animal care and working with Georgian Animal Hospital has given me that opportunity for 25 years now!

Since joining Georgian, I have adopted/rescued dogs, cat, rabbits, and even goldfish in need of a new home! What I enjoy most and take great pride in is having the ability to soothe and comfort the dogs and cats who come see us for veterinary care.

I also take great pride in helping shy pets gain confidence and trust in our clinic and team. I do all I can to help pets be as healthy and comfortable as possible.

I share my home with cats (including a Ragdoll), a Rough Collie, and Shetland Sheepdogs and I am well known as the Sheltie/Collie Lady here at Georgian and beyond.

June 19th-2026, we say goodbye to someone who has made an incredible impact on our hospital, our team, and so many of the families we are privileged to serve.

Dr. Baxter has been one of the most compassionate, dedicated, and talented veterinarians we have ever had the pleasure of working with. Throughout her time at Georgian Animal Hospital, she has provided exceptional care to countless pets while building meaningful relationships with their families. Her kindness, expertise, and genuine love for animals have left a lasting impression on everyone she has met.

While we are sad to see her go, we are also incredibly grateful for the time we shared and the many contributions she made to our hospital. Dr. Baxter has been an invaluable member of our team, and her presence will be deeply missed by both our staff and clients.

Please join us in thanking Dr. Baxter for her years of outstanding care and wishing her all the best as she begins this exciting new chapter. We know she will continue to make a difference wherever her journey takes her.

Thank you, Dr. Baxter, for everything. We will miss you, and we wish you nothing but happiness and success in the future. ❤️🐾

Today is bittersweet as we say goodbye to our wonderful Co-Op student on her last day at Georgian Animal Hospital! 🐾💙

It has been a pleasure having her as part of our team. Over the past several months, she has embraced every opportunity to learn and grow, and her enthusiasm for veterinary medicine has been inspiring to see.

Some of her favorite experiences included observing surgeries, meeting all of the amazing dogs and cats that came through our doors, and getting to know our wonderful clients. She especially enjoyed feeling like a true member of the Georgian Animal Hospital family and being included in the day-to-day activities of the clinic.

Throughout her placement, she gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience that will help her pursue her future goal of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). We are so proud of everything she has accomplished and have no doubt she has a bright future ahead of her.

Thank you for all of your hard work, positivity, and dedication. We will miss seeing you around the clinic, but we can't wait to see where your journey takes you next!

Did you know that Lyme disease is one of several tick-borne diseases that can affect dogs?

While the Lyme vaccine is considered an optional vaccine, it can be a great added layer of protection for dogs that spend time outdoors, especially in areas where ticks are common. Every dog’s lifestyle is different, and our team is happy to help determine if the Lyme vaccine is a good fit for your pet.

We also recommend annual 4DX testing. This simple blood test screens for Lyme disease as well as other tick-borne illnesses and heartworm disease, helping us detect potential issues early—even before your dog shows signs of illness.

Tick prevention, regular testing, and vaccination when appropriate can all play a role in keeping your dog healthy and happy.
