🚨 All She Does Is Stare at The Wall - She's given up....Urgent help needed 🚨

Goldie's world was turned upside down when she was picked up as a stray and taken to a small, underfunded shelter in Sumter, South Carolina. Nobody came for her, and it's clear her world had been broken long before that moment. 💔
We want to save her from euthanasia but need help raising funds.
Since her arrival, she has been staring at the cold walls of her kennel, withdrawn into herself, too terrified to look at anyone (PHOTO and VIDEOS in COMMENTS). 📷
The shelter writes: "We're looking for a rescue with the capability and patience to bring this girl around. Labs have a special place in my heart, and I know she will be great out of here. She will be on the euthanasia list if I can't find a place willing to take her."
Thanks to the heartfelt efforts of a dedicated shelter volunteer who reached out to us, we have the opportunity to learn about Goldie and hopefully change her fate.
"We believe she is 1-3 years old. She seems to be potty trained; she only gets out of her kennel once a day for maybe 5 minutes, and her kennel is clean. She will need work if someone is willing."
Our hearts ache not just for Goldie but for all the dogs in the shelter and the devoted volunteers who care for them. These incredible individuals form attachments with the animals, witnessing their struggles day in and day out. It’s painful to realize that many of these loving creatures never find a way out.
"We can never get ahead. Our Animal Control is once again full. We (volunteers) clean and walk every single dog every day. Otherwise, their door wouldn't even be opened for food or cleaning. We get attached. So hard to see great dogs get euthanized for space. I knew had to try extra hard on this one." -A devoted volunteer
Unfortunately, Goldie is also heartworm positive, which makes her situation even more urgent.
The shelter where Goldie is faces significant challenges due to limited funding and resources.
Many of the dogs' beds are worn, with rips and holes that make it difficult to keep them warm and comfortable.
To address their urgent need, we've also created a fundraiser with Kuranda Beds to provide new beds to Sumter.
We kindly ask you to consider donating a bed, which would give these dogs a safe and cozy place to rest.
For some of them, this may be their first experience of comfort, and for others, it could be the last chance to enjoy a warm bed before facing the harsh reality of euthanasia.
