Five years ago, I walked into my very first CKC conformation show with my first standard poodle, Nora. 🐩❤️
I had no idea at the time just how much that first show would change my life or where this journey would take me.
Over the past five years, I’ve learned so much — about breeds, structure, handling, grooming, showing, and most importantly, about the incredible people who make this community so special. We’ve earned countless ribbons 🏆, created so many memories, and made friendships and connections that I truly treasure. Somewhere along the way, I also took the leap and started my own storefront grooming business. What began with a poodle and a passion for learning has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of.
Thank you to every person who has taught me something, offered advice, encouraged me, cheered us on, trusted me with their dogs, shared their knowledge, or simply crossed paths with me along the way. Every conversation, lesson, friendship, and experience has helped shape the groomer, handler, business owner, and dog person I am today.
Five years later, I’m still learning, growing, and incredibly grateful for this journey.
And of course, none of it would have started without my heart dog, Nora. 🐩❤️ -Hailey
