A sincere thank you to Katie Harvey, Bart Holowath, Ron Anderson, and Kent Williamson for generously giving their time this past week as judges and scribes at the Alberta high school rodeo finals.

It is wonderful to see two past ARCHA presidents, Kent and Bart, our current Vice President, Ron, and one of ARCHA’s most regular, selfless, and dedicated volunteers, Katie, continuing to give back to the horse community.

🎉 Congratulations to all ARCHA Youth Competitors! 🎉

A huge shoutout to every ARCHA youth rider who competed at the Alberta High School Rodeo Finals in Claresholm over the past two days! With three tough rounds of competition between the cutting and cow horse events, the level of talent, determination, and sportsmanship on display was truly incredible.

The competition was fierce, and each competitor should be proud of the hard work and dedication it took to get there. 👏🐎

✨ Special congratulations to Lara Myer, Piper Yule, Weston Kenway, and Hannah Bedard for qualifying for Nationals in the Cowhorse this July!

And another big congratulations to Hannah Bedard, Lara Myer, Piper Yule, and Lane Swales for qualifying for Nationals in the cutting!

The first stop of the BA Horse Sales NP Bridle Series is in the books, and the competition is tight!

Congratulations to Michelle Woolridge, who is currently leading the pack with both the highest single score and the top aggregate. Tracy Brand is right on her heels, with Brad Dovell close behind and plenty of runs still left to shake up the standings.

With two shows remaining, $2,000 in total prize money on the line, and full bragging rights up for grabs, this series is far from over. Remember that highest single score of the 5 runs takes home $250.

Can’t wait for the summer spectacular June 25-28!

On behalf of the entire ARCHA community we would like to thank all our competitors, our sponsors and our incredible & selfless volunteers that dedicated their time this past week to make Cowtown Derby possible, we could not do this without you! Year over year we continue to be blown away by how incredible the cowhorse community is.

A special shout out to Dale Clearwater and Dual N Diamonds for their first place finish in the Open Derby. There was some fierce competition, and incredible horses this year.

We can’t wait for the Summer Spectacular June 25 - 28!
