GCH Goldcker Rhinestone Furst Nova VN RN SDO (AM CH Bearpaw Life is like a box a chocolate CD x Goldcker Poker Ships AGNS NPS PCD RN RI NTD NTD-M) had an amazing weekend at Alberta Kennel Club Summer Classic. He picked up 7 points to finish his Grand Champion title with two Select Dog on Friday and Sunday. On Sunday August 4, 2025 he was Best of Breed under Judge Jack Frost and made the final cut of 8 in the group.

Nova has earned his Canadian Champion title at the Battle River Canine Association show in Camrose on the weekend with a 5 point major Best of Winners.
He also picked up his first leg of Rally Obedience Novice title on Saturday.

All groomed and ready for Camrose dog show this weekend.
Day one updated. Much like the Ovechkin watch to break Gretzky goal record, we are in a similar watch as Nova moved to within 1 point of his Canadian Championship after picking up 1 point as winner Dog this morning.

Goldcker Rhinestone Furst Nova our boy Nova has earned his first title, this one is for scent detection. Scent Detection is made up of three components: containers, interiors and exteriors. At the Novice level the dogs are looking for one item that has the essential oil of wintergreen hidden in it. In the containers component the scent is hidden in one of ten boxes that are in a row of fives. And just like the names indicate interiors and exteriors the scent is hidden in those spaces.
As a dog moves up in levels or classes as it is known the number and kind of odours increases. The odours that are used are pine, cloves and anise.
