Have to admit, I firmly believe in starting puppies off a certain way.. even when they have no hair!
Meet Mac the mini Xolo puppy( Mexican hairless) in brown!
Because he's a hairless breed and lives with short haired dogs he is not used to seeing floofy dogs and I wanted him to build some confidence..Quill was a very good boy too and got to practice his self control as well!

I used scrub to exfoliate and moisturize his skin.. the dremmel is perfect for shy puppies as it's so quiet..

Gotta love it when your dog isn't afraid to go to the vet at all! Cypher is ready for his dental at complete with his emotional support elephant.. He will be 11 in March!
*Update* he did good. Had two back molars removed due to crack and some pulp exposure on the inside where I couldn't see it! . Considering his teeth looked fairly good, but he had bad breath, it was a good reminder to get it checked out . Poor guy was so stoic, ate really well. I had no idea..
His follow up will be to do short "in the clinic get -a -treat" visits to desensitize any association..
I always want my fur kids to love the vet..

Today marks 23 years since I took over "Pampered Pets" and created Itzaclip..
When telling a young man how long I have been grooming I realized it was longer than he had been alive... Feeling old!!
