An excellent example of blade anatomy and what exactly does a sharpener do?
It’s more than just replacing or sharpening a cutter!
Blades and clippers work together! If one step is missed, it can cause a bunch of issues. For example having to repair a clipper before it’s time, if blades are not set at right tensions. It can cause the motor to say, hey stop what’s going on, I quit!! Or if oil isn’t used at the recommended areas and suggested frequencies. Metal on metal and I’m not talking about a fun heavy metal weekend concert!! Dry blades wreck those really expensive wide blades so much faster.

Straight from the amazing team at Ukal. They supply Heiniger clippers to Canada.
The heiniger clippers can’t be dipped in cleaner. They must be sprayed only.
It will void the warranty. Always read your manual before using your clipper.
