🐾 Boost Your Pup's Joint Health with DIY Collagen Squares! 🥕🍏
Did you know pure, unflavored gelatin is an incredible source of collagen? It’s a powerhouse for supporting your dog's joints, a shiny coat, and healthy digestion!
The best part? They are incredibly easy to pop out and serve when you use flexible silicone molds.
Here is a quick, 3-ingredient recipe to whip up a batch at home:
🛒 What You Need:
1 cup Chopped carrots
1 cup Chopped apple (NO seeds or cores!)
2 tbsp Pure, unflavored food-grade gelatin (Always check for NO Xylitol)
1 cup Water (divided)
Silicone dog treat molds (for easy popping and perfect portions!)
👩🍳 Quick Steps:
Blend: Puree the apple, carrot, and ½ cup of water until smooth.
Bloom: Sprinkle gelatin over the other ½ cup of cold water; let sit for 5 minutes.
Mix: Heat the veggie/fruit puree until hot, pour it over the gelatin, and stir until fully dissolved.
Chill: Pour into your favorite silicone molds and refrigerate for 2–3 hours until firm!
Pop them out, serve, and watch those tails wag! 🐶 Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
