✨ The Paw Print Keepsake: You’ll help your pup put their Actual Paw Print (or Nose Print!) on the front of their chosen card to make it official.

Professional Excellence: The New Standard at Lucky Leash 🐾

​At Lucky Leash, we believe that "watching the dogs" isn’t enough. To provide the safest, highest-quality environment in Nelson, I am proud to announce that we have officially made PackPro Training a permanent, mandatory requirement for all staff!

​I have already personally completed the PackPro certification, and our current team is hard at work on their courses now. From this point forward, every team member who joins us will be required to complete this professional curriculum as part of their onboarding.

​What is the PackPro Program?

PackPro is an elite, industry-leading training system accredited by the Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC). This isn't just basic pet care—it is a comprehensive professional certification that covers:

🐾​Advanced Group Management: Mastering the art of entering playgroups, proper body blocking, and using verbal commands to keep the "mosh pit" balanced and safe.

🐾 ​Deciphering Dog Body Language: Learning to read a dog from head to tail to identify their emotional state—whether they are Happy/Calm, Stressed, or Alert—and how to interact with them accordingly.

🐾 ​Proactive Prevention: Implementing gate control and specialized protocols to prevent issues like "zooming," gate crashing, and unwanted behaviors before they start.

🐾 ​Health & Safety: Includes Veterinarian-taught Canine Health, First Aid, and CPR to ensure we are prepared for any situation. We will also be doing additional hands on First Aid Certification.
