A quick one about moss. It soaks up rain like a sponge and slowly lifts your shingles, which is why we get so many moss calls in the winter. Metal roofs can handle a pressure wash, but shingles can't, so shingles never see a pressure washer from us. This one made our day. Steven wrote: "Very professional, quick... no streaks." Thanks so much, Steven. No streaks is kind of our whole thing. Outside, we use a long telescopic pole that pumps purified water up to a soft brush. That lets us scrub the high windows from the ground, and the glass dries spot-free. Inside, every window is done by hand. If your windows could use some love, send us a message for a quote.

A lot of your pets come out to supervise while we work, and honestly, they deserve some credit. So starting today, every Tuesday we're introducing one of our Site Supervisors 🐾 Dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, any pet counts. Our very first is Tache from Ladysmith. Small, black and white spotted, with the droopiest ears, and very serious about quality control. Tache checked the ladder, the buckets and both of us before any work could start. We passed, we think. Want your pet to be next? Show them off next time we're over, or send us a pic of them keeping an eye on things.

Apparently Vancouver Island has a storm on the way… which means your gutters and downspouts are about to have their quarterly performance review. 😂🌧️

If they’re packed with leaves, moss, or whatever else has decided to call them home, they’ll let you know pretty quickly.

When your gutters or downspouts can’t drain properly, the water has to go somewhere. Usually that means it spills over the edges instead of flowing away from your home.

Hopefully yours pass with flying colours. 🤞
