I just love Fridays. We have so much fun. I want to think that Willow remembered some of our training from yesterday because she was doing really good today. But it may have been that we were with calmer dogs today. Hard to say. But a good hike nonetheless!

Baby Willow is with us for the next couple weeks. She was VERY excited to be there. We are going to be working on containing the energy levels and focussing less on what everyone else is doing. She is going to challenge me the whole way I’m sure!

Today’s Pack #2!
Featuring Yuna, Charlie, Alfie and Stella!
Stella had a bit of extra leash time today. We are still finding our groove. But when we got to the lake, she was straight in and just swam or floated around for the whole time. The big boys were having some great games while Yuna kept watch on them. And Stella didn’t leave the water.

The worst timing! Niko spotted a squirrel right as we were lining up for group photo time. He couldn’t contain himself and insisted on standing guard at the bottom of the tree. Took a couple minutes to get his focus back, but we got the shot in the end.

Featuring Fiona, Poppy, Lucy, Frank and Waldo!
A cooler day meant we could go and explore a trail we haven’t been too in a while. Although it was a little overgrown so Lucy and Waldo got the brunt of it. I’ll have to bring some clippers next time. Poppy is here for a sleepover and she was very happy to get out on the trail with us. We just love having her come along!

Today’s Pack #1!
Featuring Mavis, Charlie, Rocky and Riggs!
Starting to see the colours of fall making an appearance on our hikes. It will be nice to have some cooler days to give us a bit more choice in our routes. We got to the lake today and there was a gentleman that arrived just before us that was hearing in for a swim himself. He didn’t mind us joining the party even after I warned him how excited they get at the lake. We had a quick cool down and left him to his swim. Charlie wanted to follow him out into the middle if I would have let him.
