🩶 5YO GRULLO TOBIANO APHA REGISTERED GELDING 🩶
“Elliot”- a big 16.1hh!

APHA registered gelding with a warmblood-type build. Could easily go English or Western.

More whoa than go, uncomplicated, safe to ride and the same guy each day. Has been in professional training and knows the buttons for arena work but can easily be maintained at home. He also has experience with youth riders, going on trail rides and on the beach, as well as clinics and local shows! No vices. Settles quickly in new places.

Easy keeper. UTD on vaccines, dental, deworming & farrier. Does best with front shoes and a probiotic supplement.

Current owner has had him since he was a yearling and knows him inside and out. Happy to answer any questions with serious inquiries. This is a very difficult decision, so finding the right home is important. He is only available due to a change in his owner’s circumstances and through no fault of his own.

📍Located in Moncton, NB at Walker Performance Horses. Come try him out!

A year ago, Rye (Whizkey N Diamonds x Sumac Flare Gun) was having surgery on a broken leg, so the fact that we even got to bring her to a show this year feels pretty special.

We had a couple of unseasoned baby moments in the pen (scary bleachers 😮), but we are just so happy with how far she’s come. Ending the year with a +½ stop on that leg feels like the perfect way to cap off everything she’s overcome this year. Very excited to keep building her strength and confidence through the winter and come out next season ready to go.

Forever grateful to her owner, Hannah, for trusting me with her baby through all of it. And thank you to everyone who was happy to see Rye back out there with us. It means a lot. 🤍

And a big thank you to Sumac Farms for hosting such a great show. We had a great weekend!

Searching for- SAFE, SAFE, SAFE kid horse

Will be boarded at my barn and would be lightly worked. No specific discipline, type or size, just looking for something genuinely well broke, not green or young, and beginner safe to keep learning on. Safe on trails alone. Rider can currently walk, trot and lope, confidently.

Please send me a message if you have something that may be a good fit!

As we have reached almost 6500 followers , here are 6 ways to reintroduce myself and the business!

1. I’ve owned and operated my own training business for almost 8 years now. I bought Chocolate River Ranch outside of Moncton, New Brunswick in 2021.
2. What I do- starting and developing young horses, reining training, preparing horses for the show pen, consignment sales.
3. I raise, train and sell my own prospects. One of my favourite times of the year is when the new babies arrive.
4. I have a background in the veterinary field. Ive worked at 24 hr emergency & critical care center, and taught large animal nursing at a veterinary technology college.
5. Ive travelled a lot through horses. A reining internship in California, working at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, and showing at NRHA shows around the maritimes, Quebec, New York, New Jersey and Oklahoma.
6. A highlight so far was showing a horse I started under saddle and trained myself in the 2024 NRHA Open Futurity in Oklahoma.
