OPEN RANCH RIDING CHAMPIONS!! 🏆✨👏👏👏

Congratulations to Elsie Van Den Heuvel for the highlight of the weekend , winning the Open Ranch Riding in Quebec yesterday on Codes Cashin In “Ford” with a score of 73!

This team has been on a roll all week in both Youth Reining and Non-Pro Ranch. They rode a great reining pattern on Friday and were just ½ point away from the Top 5 in Reining, and earlier in the week earned a Top 3 finish in the non-pro Ranch!

A huge congratulations to our youth riders on their reining class wins over the past two weekends! Elsie and Ford took 1st in beginner Reining 18 & under, and placed Top 4 in the non-pro Ranch in Quebec, while Katie & Mango brought home wins in the NRHA Youth classes in New Brunswick! 👏🏼

Congratulations as well to Chloe & W***y on becoming NRHA Reserve Champions in the Non-Pro Derby Levels 1, 2 & 4 in Quebec! 🏆✨

Rye update 💖

It’s hard to believe how far she has come since the fall.

After surgery for her pastern fracture, months of rehab here, and taking things one day at a time, she’s officially back in regular training!! I think I can speak for everyone when I say we’ve gone from cautiously optimistic to just plain excited. Watching Hannah lope her around outside today was a pretty special moment. 🤍

Rye is only three years old and has a long career ahead of her, so we couldn’t be happier to see her back doing what comes so naturally to her. She is such a good minded baby that it feels like we’re picking up right where we left off in her training.

Recovery isn’t always a straight line, but with time, a plan, and great vets to guide us, amazing things can happen. I know how stressful it is to go through something like this with your horse, and I never take for granted the trust owners place in me through that process.

Thank you Hannah, for trusting me with your girl. You never stopped believing in Rye’s recovery and did everything you could to give her the best chance to succeed. 🩷
