Pic of the Day 1k970 Silver Mollies. These mollies are Tank Bred and they are eating a piece of Vitalis Grazer puck in the video.

Pic of the Day 1k969. Dove Snail (Euplica Bidentata). I’ve been growing these snails since 2016. They eat algae, detritus and biofilm. We even seen them in our skimmers eating skim on the collection cup neck. Most of them are full of coralline algae from our coral system. Add snail and coralline 🙂

If you check our display tank or coral tank, they are the only snail in those tanks and tanks are super clean. They right themselves up and they breed like crazy laying eggs on the glass.

If you bought corals from us, there’s a good chance you got some or we gave you some. Again, they are a great addition.

Negative about them. They are only 2cm and they can get into pumps. So, you may get some noise or blockage.

Why we use and sell Fauna Marin Salt. Yes we also use Instant Ocean, but only for our fish, invert and QT Systems.

I’ve posted pictures of my mixing bins before but here’s a small video of the difference between both mixing bins.

Pic of the Day 1k968 I’m Back!!, so now time for our Pic of the Day back on track.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures I’ve sent on some stores in France. Wife attends a conference for work each year and I tag along and go visite stores. They give me some ideas which we can apply to our location.

So today’s pic of the day is the orange claw hermit crab from Jakarta which we still have some in stock and are a great cleaner.

Animalis

This was a really nice store for a big box store. Was very very clean and animals were in excellent condition. I was very impressed.

Their freshwater display tank was amazing. It was big!! Love the fact that each cabinet panel was removable and sitting on a steel stand.

L’Aquarium Steph. Here’s another store which their hours are 8am-12pm because after 12pm, Steph is gone servicing tanks. Just the reverse what I do which I service my tanks in the morning and open at 12pm.

Much cleaner setup than the other store

The only reptile store in Lyon, France. It was immaculate. Before entering the store you had to sanitize your hands. The shop was maybe 500 square feet.

Since my wife has been at conference here in France, I’ve been visiting Pet Stores. Heres is one that’s been around for 67 years. I love visiting other stores and see their setups and speak with owners.

Europe has been at this hobby way longer than we’ve been in North America.
