We are a locally owned and opertated full service veterinary hospital that has been serving the Miramichi and surrounding areas for over 20 years. Our team consists of two veterinarians, Dr. Vienneau and Dr. Jule, 7 veterinary technicians, 4 veterinary assistants and 3 veterinary receptionists.

**Arlo has found his perfect 🏠
This handsome hunk is still looking for his forever home! He has made some progress with our two clinic cats, so he would be able to go to a home with other cats. He still wants to be the boss, so he would do better in a home where the other cats are okay with that. He needs someone that understands the adjustment period will take months, if he’s going to a home with other cats. He is great with kids, loves to cuddle, and just loves to be around people. We have the privilege of having students with us for the next little while, so we thought we should introduce them. Kyra is here doing her OJT, she completed the Veterinary Technician program at Oulton College in Moncton. Travis is here for his co-op placement from JMH. We love being able to offer these placements to students as it is an opportunity to inspire the next generation of veterinarians, technicians and assistants. We believe that hands-on experience is invaluable, and through engaging mentorship and exposure to real-world scenarios, students can gain a deeper understanding of what veterinary medicine truly entails.

This handsome boy is looking for his forever home 🏠 he has been with us for 3 months now, he has had x-rays, bloodwork and his vaccinations updated. He had a clean bill of health, but as you can see he is currently on a weight loss journey. His perfect home would be a home where he is the only pet in the house. He enjoys sitting on laps and being loved. He is great with children. He does not like other cats or dogs. He truly wants to be the king of the castle. His new owners will need to continue with his weightloss plan, so he can remain healthy for many more years to come 💕 if you are interested in this sweet boy, give us a call 506-773-7845.

Summer BBQs are fun—but they can pose hidden risks for pets. Keep your furry friends safe with these quick tips:

🍑 Fruit pits (like peaches and cherries) can block airways or intestines and even contain toxins.
🌽 Corn cobs can cause dangerous intestinal blockages.
🥓 Skewers (wood or metal) can puncture mouths and digestive tracts.
🧈 Foil & plastic wrap are tempting and can lead to choking or blockages.
🧄 Foods like onions, garlic, and fatty meats can be toxic or cause tummy trouble.

✅ Keep trash secured
✅ Don’t leave food unattended

It’s not very often that cats end up needing a c-section, but this week we had a cat come in having difficulty during labour requiring veteinary intervention. Mama cat managed to birth 3, and 3 were born by c-section. Mama and babies are doing well 💕
