A few pictures of the critters this morning and some fun farm updates:

🐐 Raisin got his winter coat clipped yesterday, he wasn’t shedding out fast enough so we decided the best thing was to clip him and help him out, he was very happy afterwards, running, jumping and playing with Rue!

🐣 2 of my Silkie hens hatched out 3 chicks so far!

🏔️ We will be closed June 1-8. Goat Walks and Petting Zoo Tours will resume after the 9th.

I want to thank everyone who has come out for our Petting Zoo Tour, Goat Walks, etc. I hope you enjoyed your visits, it has been wonderful meeting new people who love the animals as much as I do!

Every visit and egg purchase goes back to the animals costs and care, as a small “business” and horse/farm animal sanctuary every little bit matters and I’m doing something I enjoy with the critters I love, what could be better!?

So thank you again from the Thunder Hollow Stables crew, both 2 and 4 legged! 🐐

Our farm family suffered a huge loss this morning.

Romey was the goat that started it all, big in size and personality it was hard not to fall in love with him. He was a troublemaker but in all the silly and goofy ways a goat could be.
He will be greatly missed by all here.
