🐹 GUINEA PIG UPDATE! 🐹

We have some bittersweet news to share! The guinea pigs from the SPCA who were staying with us at Pet Valu Unionville have officially found their forever homes! 🏡💕

While we’ll miss their little squeaks and sweet faces around the store, we couldn’t be happier knowing they’re now safe and loved in their new families.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by to visit, shared their stories, and showed these little ones so much love. And a special shoutout to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society York Region Animal Centre for all the amazing work they do finding homes for animals in need. 🐾

10/22/2026

Share this with a pet parent you want to trick-or-treat with this year! Maybe even try a matching set? Shop all these costumes at your local store or online (while supplies last).

As temperatures start to drop, you may be wondering how long your dog should spend outdoors. The answer depends on factors like their size, coat type, and age. Keep an eye out for signs they're getting too cold, such as slowing down, shivering, or lifting their paws. When you notice these cues, it's time to head inside and warm up.

Check out our Cold Weather Lookbook for more expert tips on keeping your pet safe and comfortable this season. 🐾❄️
