Our Philosophy

Shake A Leg Petcare is all about safety, honesty, and fun! The safety of your pet is always our prime concern, no matter what the situation. For this reason, we do not take dogs off-leash, unless in an off-leash designated park, and with permission from the owners. We are always attentive to your dog's behaviour and health, and will immediately let you know if something doesn't seem right. We may find that a service we are providing isn't the right fit for your pet. If this occurs, we will inform you right away and work with you to find a solution that better suits your needs. Last but not least, we want your pets to have fun with us! We walk, feed, play fetch, cuddle -- whatever your pet needs to be happy. We can never take your place in your pet's eyes, but we can help them have fun when you can't be there. (read less)

BOBBY!! This guy is just the happiest boy ever lol, love him ❤️ Bobby has been a yearly regular for almost 10 years now! He might be a little slower than he used to be, but he's still pretty spunky, can howl with the best of them, and never misses a meal lol! Cuties Oreo and Molly have been here for a few sleepovers this summer and were little superstars as always! They did a little mix of kennel and house this time and loooove sleeping on the bed - Oreo seems to enjoy sleeping ON my pillow/half on top of my head 😂 Apparently you can never get too close when it comes to cuddling lol!

Next up is little Max! Max may be small in size, but he's big when it comes to personality! This wasn't Max's first overnight sleepover, but it was his first time spending more time at the kennel. He was such a good boy and still got to alternate between the house and kennel as you can see from his bedtime lounging photos lol! He loves charging around with all the other pups, playing with his favorite blue stick toy, and stealing all my dog's toys(and sometimes my TV remote lol!) in the apartment. Love him! ❤️

Next up is Maple! Maple is a typical goofy goldendoodle who would like nothing more than to glue herself to your side if possible lol! She did some daycare with me and the pups before her big 2 week stay and did so well! She did a combination of house and kennel time while she was boarding and obviously loved apartment bedtime cuddles lol! She hung out with some of the pups and loooved playing with all the toys. Hopefully I'll see her again soon!

Lola!! Miss Lola is another new addition to the Shake A Leg gang and did amazing during her first two little overnights! She's not a fan of other dogs so she stayed in the house with me and obviously had a very relaxing vacation lol! She's so sweet and loving, but I always have to remember that she gets SUPER excited if I play with her too much...and also that her head is like a bowling ball and could definitely give me a concussion 😂 Looking forward to seeing her again soon 💖

Rocket (aka Waffles new boyfriend as seen in my last post lol!) Recently did his longest boarding stay yet and was such a superstar! He is a little wild child and had so much fun playing with toys and some doggie friends, and even people friends (see photo of my mom who came to visit the pups for a play session one day). Baby Millie was here recently for her first overnight and she did so well! She spent some time getting used to the kennel, but I let her sleep at the house since she's just a baby so we're trying to ease her into the boarding experience lol! Another new addition to the Shake A Leg family recently for boarding is Bear! Omg this dog is just gorgeous and has the softest coat ❤️ Bear had a bit of a rough start to life, but he's doing so great with the family who adopted him and he did awesome for his first time boarding with me! He was a lover of all dogs, toys and people - looking forward to seeing more of him and gushing to him about how handsome he is lol!

Cuties Kylie and Vinny were here recently for their first big sleepover and did very well.They definitely missed their mom and dad, but I tried to fill to cuddling void for them while they were staying with me lol! They mainly stayed in the apartment this time with some kennel time here and there, but we'll be working towards kennel stays in the future for them! Vinny is such a spunky little guy and we had lots of spirited arguments abour why he needs to let me put on his harness for walks outside 😂, and Kylie just wants to cuddle forever lol!
