We offer a full compliment of veterinary services including: 30 minute appointments, emergency care, surgery, spays & neuters, vaccinations, dentistry, rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, laser therapy, acupuncture and wellness & weight loss programs. Our Hospital is equipped with on site lab equipment, digital dental X Ray, X Ray and Surgical equipment to provide timely on site diagnosis of your pet.

We recently added a full compliment of rehabilitation equipment including an underwater treadmill, class IV therapeutic laser and exercise equipment. Our staff will be happy to give you a tour of our practice and provide the care your pet needs. We look forward to your next visit.

Meet Josee, another one of our beloved staff pets featured for Dog Anxiety Awareness Week.
Since being adopted in October 2017, Josee has needed Cytopoint injections every 1–2 months to help manage her skin allergies. Because of being bounced around so much early in life and having frequent medical care, she developed a strong fear of needles, handling, and even nail trims. For years, we tried to “manage” her visits without pre-visit sedation, but eventually Dr. Caroline helped us realize that pushing through those appointments was doing more harm to Josee’s mental health than good.
We also discovered that Josee associated being held by her dad, Connor, at the clinic with receiving needles, so he had to step back from the process to help rebuild her trust. It took time to find the lowest effective dose of medication for her, but the difference has been incredible.
Now, Josee can come into the clinic for injections and other procedures with our technicians calmly and comfortably, and even her nail trims at home have become much less stressful. Connor’s other dog, Nyah, also benefits from a low dose of anti-anxiety medication during clinic visits, as she becomes very worried when separated from Josee. Helping both dogs feel safe and supported has made a world of difference for them and their family.

May 4-10 is Dog Anxiety Awareness week, which shines a light on how common anxiety is in dogs and how deeply it can affect their well-being. It’s a chance to better understand the signs, reduce stigma, and support anxious pets with patience, compassion, and the right care. Over the next few days, we’ll be introducing some of our own staff pets who experience anxiety, sharing their stories to help raise awareness and remind others they’re not alone.

Meet Bailey 🐾

Bailey is a 13.5-year-old Aussie/Collie with a big heart and an even bigger love for staying active. She’s incredibly sweet, loyal, and happiest when she’s by her people’s side.
Like many of us, Bailey can feel overwhelmed at times. Loud noises like fireworks and thunderstorms are especially tough for her - she’s a sensitive soul who feels things deeply.
With support from the team at Sears Animal Hospital, Bailey has access to calming, anti-anxiety medication to help her through stressful moments. At home, her family makes sure she has a cozy safe space with the blinds closed and background music playing to help drown out the noise and keep her feeling secure.
Bailey reminds us that anxiety can look different for everyone - and that the right support, both at home and from your care team, can make all the difference.
