Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day 🌈

This is a day to remember the pet's who have been so special to us and to honour their memory.

This year, we invite you to make a donation in memory of your cherished companion. Your gift will not only celebrate their memory but also help save the lives of animals still waiting for a second chance.

As a special tribute, you can choose to honour your pet with a colourful pinwheel displayed along the walk route at our upcoming event, Tails on Trails, Presented by Subaru of London. Each pinwheel will serve as a vibrant symbol of love and remembrance.

Are you passionate about animal health and welfare? 🐾 HSLM is looking for two dedicated individuals to join our Animal Health Team! ⬇️

➡️ Registered Veterinary Technician

Join our fully operational, in-house shelter clinic and provide high-quality veterinary care to animals in need. This is a unique opportunity to put your RVT skills to work in an environment where no two days are the same!

Working alongside our veterinary and shelter teams, you’ll support individual patient care while also helping manage the health and wellbeing of the broader shelter population.

On August 28th, we will celebrate Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. This is a day to remember the pets who have been so special to us and to honour their memory.

Warm and Fuzzy Fest is coming to London on October 11th! 🐾🎸🍂

This week, we're highlighting one of the incredible performers taking the stage: Emily Garber Music! 🎶

Emily Garber is a London, Ontario–based singer-songwriter blending sharp storytelling with warm, melodic indie-folk. A mother, teacher, and dedicated artist, she has carved out space in a full life to pursue her passion for performance, songwriting, and recording—bringing an unfiltered honesty and emotional intelligence to her work.

A two-time nominee at the Forest City Music Awards, Emily has performed at Aeolian Hall, Nathan Phillips Square, and the Home County Music Festival. She has also opened for Jim Bryson and Matthew Barber.

Currently, she is writing and recording her debut all-original studio album, Broken Home, produced by Jim Bryson—a project that captures her grounded presence and evolving sound. 🎶
