Floyd still hasn't found a family to call his own, so now he's dressed to impress! 🤴He's hoping maybe THIS will get him the attention he deserves?

Sweet boy Floyd is a super affectionate, friendly and social 6 year old kitty who would love to go home! He gets along great with a staff dog, but doesn't care for other cats.. However, with slow introductions and enough vertical space, we're pretty sure he could come around to the idea! He has been in care since May and as much as we love him, we know he would be much happier in a home

Do we really even need to write a bio? Look at her face, she's perfect 🥹

Okay fine, we'll give you the details but you can't deny that face card should be enough to seal any deal!

Rainbow is a super sweet 10 year old girly that loves to cuddle. She is the biscuit queen, often found purring in her bed and rubbing her face into your hands

Shiraz, 1.5 years old 🥂

This sweet, bubbly girl is looking for a family to call her own! Shiraz loves to play with other dogs and would be happy to share her home with another pup, but would be happiest without any kitties in the home. She LOVES to chase and doesn't quite understand how a cat could be any different from a squirrel!

Shiraz is a hefty 85lbs, but some of that is a little extra cushion she is working to shed 🫣 She loves to play with her friends at Ruff Runners, go for walks, roll in the grass and is happy to wind down with a stuffed Kong at the end of the day.

If you're looking for a playful, sunshine loving girl, Shiraz may be just the pup for you! For more information, please call us at 519-685-1330 🥰

Often our senior and medical case cats get overlooked time and time again by younger kittens or ‘designer’ cats. However, these cuties deserve a home too!

🐈 Maximus
• 9 y/o neutered male
• FIV + but does well around chill cats
• Very affectionate but also likes to be independent
• Was previously an outdoor community cat but was brought into us for some extra love and medical care. He is now adoptable and is the sweetest guy ever 🥺🫶

🐱Floyd
• 6 y/o neutered male
• Diabetic but on oral medication (not insulin shots) that he takes very well!
• Great with dogs, but not a huge fan of cats!
• Super cuddly and affectionate, always wants to be where you are 🌟

If you may be interested in any of these cuties, please give us a call at 519-685-1330 or visit us in-person at 122 Pine Valley Blvd. in London, ON.

😻 We are THRILLED about the amount of people in our comments section rooting for our senior cats! 🎉

So, in hopes that we can get them all into loving homes, here are a few more sweet seniors looking for their forever families:

1- Bentley (available soon) 7 years old. Bentley is a super affectionate and kind kitty who came to us after being found in a car engine. Unfortunately, that car engine was turned on and ripped the pads of his feet and his belly 🥺 When we were neutering him, we also found a BB pellet lodged in him and had to remove quite a few nasty teeth. This sweet soul is recovering very well and is nearly ready for somebody to love him forever!

2- Botero, 7 years old. A very affectionate lady who had a big dental surgery to get her feeling her best! She loves to be loved 😽

3- Rainbow, 10 years old. This sweet girl came to us with a life threatening pyometra, our vet team immediately got her all fixed up and she is feeling better than ever! She has stage 1-2 kidney disease and would do best on a kidney care diet :) She is all about rubbing against her people and asking for more pets.

4- Sheba, 11 years old (available soon). This little lady will be ready as soon as she gets a much needed dental, we are still getting to know her!

5- Maximus, 9 years old. You may recognize him from our last post. This sweet boy lived as a community cat for most of his life and is FIV+ but positively adoptable!

🐾UNADOPTABLE? OR JUST UNSEEN? 💔

We have a few cats in our care that in most places would be deemed "unadoptable" and put to sleep.. But we see them for who they are. Loving, happy, comfortable beings who deserve a chance. The question is... Can we really find them homes? 😓

1) Floyd, 6 years old. This sweet ginger boy LOVES everybody he meets and is such a happy, loving boy. His hang-up? He's diabetic... But just barely! This boy doesn't need insulin injections, he takes an oral medication once daily but if we're being honest.. It isn't cheap. Will it be hard to find him a home? Probably. Is it impossible? I really hope not.

2) Maximus, 9 years old. Another sweet Ginger boy, you can see that life has not been gentle to him. He has grown up on the streets and the community has cared for him, loving him outdoors. But they noticed he was starting to look worse for wear. He came into our care looking pretty rough but we've gotten him all cleaned up! As if being 9 years old wasn't enough, he is FIV+. A condition that doesn't require medication but does mean he should be a solo cat in the home.

3) Belevedre. This girl... Whooof. This girl is 21 whopping years old! BUT! She is the picture of health despite that! We are working with a senior cat rescue in hopes that they may be able to take her in but times are tough in the rescue world and most rescues do not have space currently..

Are any of these cats easy adoptions? Certainly not. Do I hear "you can't save them all" on a regular basis? Absolutely. But it doesn't mean I can't try. Despite what we see on a daily basis, I do still have faith in humanity. I have faith that somebody out there will see these cats and think "I will love you despite your flaws". They have already been given up on once, and I'll be damned if I don't try to give them a fair chance.

So PLEASE- consider giving an "unadoptable" cat a chance. They deserve to be loved too. They don't deserve to spend their final days in a cage.
